I just wanted to share this with you. It is from TeenVogue. I would love to take a photoshoot like this.
Today I woke up ready to meet my friend at Whole Foods for breakfast and then we were to go on a hike. Plans changed, but I was still determined to go on a hike, so after the YM's BBall game Dad and I went up to the Monrovia canyon for a nice hike. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was such a beautiful day. Next time I go I will bring my camera because the view is incredible. Just the trees alone really make me appreciate nature. After our hike, Dad and I went to eat at an organic café. Everything they make is natural. The food is grown locally in Arcadia. When I eat there I feel so much better about my food choice.
I came home and did some homework and then washed my car. It looks really good now thanks to Dad who helped me wash the tires. :D
Then I read my book for school (Black Boy by Richard Wright) for a couple of hours outside in the backyard. So basically I have spent the whole day outside! It really was a perfect day. Sunny. Breezy. Cool.
Mom and I are going out to eat and then I will go over to Grammy's to watch a movie with her. :D I just bought The Secret Life of Bees on DVD so I am looking forward to watching that.
oh and guess what? At 8:30pm tonight for one hour it is Earth Hour. This is an event that takes place every year. People all over the world turn off all of their lights for one hour. This not only will save energy, but will send a message to the government that citizens want to see change. We want to take a step further to sustainable energy. If you support this, turn off your lights between 8:30-9:30!!
