My School Is So Green!

I love how my college is one of the top greenest schools in America! We have a great recycling program on campus. I actually helped sort paper from a conveyer belt at the recycling center few weeks ago.
Also there is a sustainability council through on campus. I went to one meeting and found myself in charge of the Homecoming Parade float for Blue Goes Green. haha. I'm actually really excited. Theres going to be an electric car, some bikers, and people handing out green challenges.

Speaking of which- I have a challenge for you! Right now all GAP stores are taking any pair of used jeans and giving 30% your purchase of a new pair of gap 1968 jeans. They will turn the used denim into insulation for homes in need. Cool huh? GAP made a sweet video to promote their awesome sustainable event.
I do have to warn you: there is a part of this video that is not suitable for viewers under the age of 13.

Support companies going green! I know you have a pair of jeans that just don't belong in your wardrobe anymore. What better way for them to help a house in need of some warmth!!
